Christian Community Health Center (CCHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center and 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 1991 to address the healthcare and social service needs of Chicago communities. Over the past 27 years, CCHC has expanded its reach, including the South Holland Clinic located in South Holland, Illinoise.
The South Holland Clinic operates Monday and Tuesday from 8 am to 6 pm, Wednesday from 8 am to 7 pm, Thursday from 9 am to 8 pm, and Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. Additionally, the clinic is open every fourth Saturday of the month from 8 am to 2 pm. Services offered encompass primary medical care for children and adults, dental care, prenatal and women’s health services, behavioral health counseling, and support for routine, urgent, and chronic medical needs.
CCHC’s behavioral health services are comprehensive, addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, and trauma. Licensed clinicians provide psychosocial assessments, individual and group therapy sessions, and psychiatric referrals tailored to each client’s needs. As a Division of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery (SUPR) licensed provider, CCHC offers intervention and substance abuse treatment, including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT).
The center is committed to delivering high-quality, affordable healthcare, regardless of a patient’s ability to pay. This commitment is reflected in their acceptance of various insurance plans, including Medicaid and Medicare, and the provision of services on a sliding fee scale. CCHC’s mission is to provide services in a manner that demonstrates the love of Jesus Christ, aiming to improve the health of individuals, families, and the community through an integrated system of care.
