Saint Anne’s Home, situated in Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood, offers a supportive environment for adult women recovering from chemical dependency. Established in 2017 by the Order of Saint Anne Chicago, the facility provides long-term recovery programs ranging from six months to a year. The mission is to empower residents to live responsibly, independently, and substance-free.
The home is a newly refurbished, large single-family style residence featuring both single and multiple-occupant rooms. Amenities include central air conditioning, internet, cable, and on-site laundry facilities. Its location offers convenient access to public transportation, including buses and the Red Line.
The dedicated staff at Saint Anne’s Home brings over 20 years of experience in the social service field. They focus on identifying individual strengths and weaknesses to develop personalized plans that aid in mental, physical, and spiritual transitions into the community. The team is led by Executive Director Sister Judith Mandrath, MA, CRADC, who has been with the Order for over three decades and has extensive experience in substance abuse counseling and clinical supervision.
Saint Anne’s Home is a certified Illinois not-for-profit corporation with 501(c)(3) status and is recognized by the Illinois Association of Extended Care. The facility was born from a vision in the early 1980s by Mother Mary Margaret, OSA Chicago, to address the high rates of drug and alcohol addiction among Chicago’s youth. After decades of perseverance, this vision was realized, providing a much-needed resource for women seeking recovery.
