Christian Community Health Center (CCHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center and non-profit organization that has been serving the Chicago area since 1991. With locations in Chicago, Calumet City, and South Holland, CCHC offers a comprehensive range of healthcare services to meet the diverse needs of the community.
At the Calumet City Clinic, located at 364 Torrence Avenue, patients have access to primary medical care, dental services, prenatal and postnatal care, and women’s health services. The clinic operates Monday through Friday with extended hours on select days, and is open every second Saturday of the month to accommodate various schedules.
CCHC’s behavioral health services address issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, and substance use disorders. Licensed clinicians provide individual and group therapy, psychosocial assessments, and psychiatric referrals tailored to each client’s needs. The center also offers Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for opioid and alcohol dependencies, supported by a dedicated care team.
In addition to medical and behavioral health services, CCHC provides on-site laboratory services in partnership with LabCorp, ensuring timely and accurate diagnostic testing. The center’s commitment to holistic care is further demonstrated through specialty services like the Ryan White/HIV program, Hepatitis C Clinic, insurance enrollment assistance, and a mobile health van to reach underserved populations.
CCHC’s mission is to deliver high-quality, affordable healthcare regardless of a patient’s ability to pay, embodying the compassion and commitment of its founding principles. With a multidisciplinary team dedicated to patient-centered care, CCHC continues to be a cornerstone of health and wellness in the communities it serves.
