The Extension, located in Marietta, Georgia, is a licensed residential recovery program dedicated to assisting homeless men and women struggling with alcohol and substance addictions. In August 2023, The Extension expanded its men’s campus by adding a 22,000-square-foot facility. This new building includes 52 additional beds, a commercial-grade kitchen, a fitness center, and multipurpose classrooms, allowing the organization to serve more individuals and enhance its evidence-based treatment offerings. The Extension’s mission is to empower chemically dependent homeless individuals to become sober, accountable members of society, and to serve as a valuable recovery resource for the community.
