Tulsa Boys’ Home (TBH), founded in 1918, is Oklahoma’s oldest and largest residential treatment center for boys aged 13 to 18. Situated on a tranquil 160-acre campus in Sand Springs, TBH offers a comprehensive array of services designed to address emotional, behavioral, and substance abuse challenges. The facility serves approximately 62 residents daily and welcomes about 125 boys annually, providing individualized care that transforms lives and fosters positive futures.
TBH’s mission focuses on breaking cycles of poverty, abuse, and neglect through a nurturing, structured environment. Its nationally accredited programs include equine therapy—an innovative approach leveraging horse care to develop social and emotional skills—as well as on-campus schooling tailored to academic growth and therapeutic needs. The substance abuse treatment program is another cornerstone, emphasizing sobriety and long-term wellness.
Community engagement is integral to TBH’s success. Through initiatives like volunteer programs, mentorships, and “Hope Tours,” the organization fosters meaningful connections while raising awareness about its impactful work. Accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA) since 2002, TBH continually meets high standards of professional performance and care.
The campus provides a safe, serene environment with round-the-clock supervision and a team of dedicated professionals, ensuring holistic support for each resident. Tulsa Boys’ Home empowers young men to overcome adversity, achieve stability, and lead productive lives.
