NUWAY I is a residential substance use disorder treatment program operated by NUWAY Alliance, a nonprofit behavioral health organization based in Minnesota. The program provides ASAM 3.1 level residential care for adults who identify as male. Services are delivered in a community-based, medically monitored setting with 24-hour staff supervision and on-site nursing support that does not include prescribing services. Treatment programming is individualized according to each client’s needs and recovery goals.
Clinical services at the facility include therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Twelve Step Facilitation, and Motivational Interviewing. Programs are structured to support adults who may be experiencing substance use disorders along with co-occurring mental health conditions. Clients entering residential treatment often need a stable environment and additional time to establish recovery skills and daily routines.
NUWAY I is part of the broader NUWAY Alliance treatment network, which manages multiple residential programs and behavioral health services in Minnesota. These programs focus on coordinated care that addresses both substance use and mental health conditions. Residential treatment services are intended to provide structured support, counseling, and recovery planning during a period of monitored care.
