Home of Purpose Empowerment (HOPE AZ) is a dedicated organization in Buckeye, Arizona, offering comprehensive support for individuals overcoming mental health and substance use challenges. They provide Behavioral Health Residential Facilities (BHRF) and sober living homes, ensuring compassionate care and safe housing to promote stability and sobriety.
Co-founded by Elonda and Kevin Wilson, HOPE AZ is driven by personal experiences and a commitment to community service. Elonda, the Chief Operating Officer, brings over 20 years of experience as an operations leader and executive in the financial industry. She is also an experienced motivational speaker, life and career coach, and leadership trainer. Kevin, the Executive Director of Human and Social Services, has over 10 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and the mentally challenged. As a psychotherapist for the Department of Corrections, he has experience in oversight of the psychiatric ward and the residential treatment program for mentally acute patients.
HOPE AZ’s mission is to provide high-quality care focusing on each client’s individual needs, empowering them on their journey of recovery, prevention, intervention, and self-sufficiency in their mental well-being. Their services include residential housing, individual and group therapy, transportation, outpatient treatment programs, sober living programs, anger management training, education and skills development, life skills training, community reintegration, employment preparation, behavior therapy, self-care training, coping skills training, family reunification, and transitional support.
Additionally, HOPE AZ actively serves veterans and their families, providing specialized programs to address issues such as post-traumatic stress disorder, depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma and stressor-related disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, bipolar and related mood disorders, and substance abuse disorder rehabilitation. They offer residential treatment, domiciliary programs for homeless veterans, transitional housing with job counseling and outpatient treatment, outpatient groups, individual, couples or family counseling, and community support.
