Lighthouse Inc., located at 445 County Road 773 in Cullman, Alabama, is a non-profit residential rehabilitation center dedicated to supporting adult men aged 21 and older in overcoming substance use disorders. Established in 1974, the facility offers a 90-day inpatient program grounded in the 12-step philosophy of Alcoholics Anonymous. Residents engage in individual and group counseling sessions, participate in in-house 12-step meetings, and receive relapse prevention education. The program also includes recreational activities and transportation to community-based AA and NA meetings. To be eligible for admission, applicants must have completed a 28-day treatment program within the past year, possess a recent psychosocial assessment with a primary diagnosis of substance dependence, and be free of mood-altering substances upon entry. Financial assistance is available through a sliding fee scale.
