Southern West Virginia Fellowship Home (SWVFH), located in Beckley, West Virginia, has been a trusted transitional living facility since 1967. Dedicated to helping adult males maintain abstinence from alcohol and drugs, this long-term program fosters the development of a sober lifestyle in a structured, supportive environment. Residents engage in a variety of recovery activities, including daily classes, 12-step facilitation meetings, and consistent drug testing to ensure accountability.
Participants attend 10-18 AA/NA meetings weekly, both on-site and in the local community, creating strong recovery networks. Beyond therapeutic activities, residents contribute to the home through daily chores, minor repairs, and community involvement, encouraging personal growth and responsibility. Employment, education, or volunteer work is also emphasized as part of their reintegration journey.
